2009 – 2010 Update
We attended field days in Northland and Central Districts in February and March of 2009 and there was a
huge response with feedback on our Top Quality Ryegrass and the service we provide, even though we are
way down here in Canterbury.
Unfortunately we have other commitments this year, including Field days in Gore, so we will not be attending any North Island events.
Remember, we are still only a phone call or email away!
Southern field days at Lincoln saw us steam the Traction Engine and place her on our site. If everyone who
stopped to take a pic of the 1912 Robey had bought seed, it would have been awesome! She then appeared
at the Ellesmere Country Fair and Vintage Rally in Leeston, 4 – 5th April.
November was the Christchurch A&P Show where two of our clients were awarded Supreme Champion for their Charalois cattle and Hampshire
sheep. Both graze on Cridge Seeds' ryegrass. It was a great year for catching up with clients at all these events.
We are pleased to advise that our ryegrass prices are staying the same, with no increase for twenty ten. Maybe we will reduce the cost
of seed if purchased in ton quantities. Just ask!
NEW RELEASE 2010 - RILEY perennial ryegrass. Enquire now!
2010 seed is late coming in, due to the weather conditions, but we hope fo have seed on the dresser soon and into mixes for all of your seed requirements. There should be no shortage, but if you are thinking of sowing please GET ORGANISED EARLY, be prepared, workout what you need or what works best, the quantity,
then try to give us some notice.
Even though we try to do our best it is difficult to receive a phone call mid afternoon on a Friday and get seed on a truck Monday morning, especially if it is required in a mix. We process in order of phoning, to be fair. We won't be sending out glossy brochures every week to confuse you, so please view our pricelist and information on line or phone us for information to be sent.
Our seed is Top Quality export grade ryegrass with Purity and Germination tests available. We grow the seed here in Canterbury, clean to a high standard at our grain store and forward onto farmers, offering competitive prices, high priority customer service and we're still here to assist year after year.
You need to know what is in your Mix!
Please phone or email if you have any requests or requirements. It's no trouble to quote or advise. We've had some amazing results...
