"My company, Agricultural Contracting Otago Ltd, has been involved sowing Cridge
Seeds Ltd productive range of their own brands of ryegrass for a number of years.
Cutter tetraploid Italian is a top of the range grass that out-performs many other
competitors. Our clients are amazed by the cost effectiveness of sowing a grass
which out-performs more expensive grasses. After grazing or mowing for balage, Cutter
ryegrass rebounds into a growth splurge, while other annuals seem somewhat slower
at times.
We have guaranteed evidence that identical land sown with Cridge Seeds ryegrass
out performs any other. One example is my own place. We direct drilled cutter-plantain-shaftal
annual clover at a rate of 25kg per ha into existing pasture. Its growth rate was
tremendous and our property very productive compared to neighboring properties.
Magnum Oats which are a feed/fodder Oat were sown with Cutter and yielded 31 x 800kg
plus bales per hectare of high protein winter fodder.
